    Has anybody NOT thrown this game out their window at passing traffic yet?
  • Inmediasress #2 10 months ago

    @geeza2020

    Well I didn't throw it out but I sure didn't touch it since I played trough it once and started a second playtrough but scrapped it after a few hours. Maybe I will sell it but you know it was a gift and you shouldn't sell a gift.. lol
    I'm sure as hell wont pay for this DLC for a game that's best described as medicore and then I'm being very generous.

    More running through Kirkwall and the Deep roads then?
  • Dubya #4 10 months ago

    Well I've played through it 5 times and I really enjoy it inspite of it's flaws. The DLC is going to be awesome!
  • Dubya #5 10 months ago

    @username84 Actually, no. All new environments.
  • geeza2020 #6 10 months ago

    Its one of the signs of the horribly low quality of an RPG when "New Environments" is a feature.

    I enjoyed the rest of it, new environments are something they needed to address.
  • Stranded87 #8 10 months ago

    Definitely looks like new environments, but the trailer looked like it was set in two rooms, so not sure how much we'll be getting.

    @geeza202

    Oh, that’s good, over the top anti bioware hyperbole, that’s so original for this site…

    I actually really enjoyed the game, far more than the witcher, and despite its flaws.

    But hey kids, it’s fashionable to bash bioware now, so let’s get on that band wagon before it leaves!!! Woot woot!

    sorry for the rants, the game was just such a huge disappointment for me after the original DA.

    If you're gonna buy it, enjoy yourselves ;-)
  • Gunship #11 10 months ago

    I can understand not hating DA2. But liking it enough to buy DLC? Nope. Trying hard to compute, but no. BioWare should have abandoned DA and gone back to the drawing board. Carrying on as normal (ie releasing Legacy) with just a few tweaks shows how out of touch they are with their core fans. Rabbit caught in headlights. Feel sorry for the poor programmers who have again been let down by Laidlaw and his vision of an action adventure game for console kiddies.

    If they released some substantial dlc like they did with Awakening then i'd totally buy it, but this sort of thing is too insubstantial to be worth it. Even if it was free i'm not sure i'd bother.
  • Softie2k #13 10 months ago

    Being the semi sequel of Baldur's Gate is just a joke.
  • sourc0r #14 10 months ago

    @ #9 so you want to give them credits for disappointing atleast all of their SANE fans with DA2? you can enjoy almost everything, that's what games are for - entertainment.
    doesn't mean you mustn't criticize them for being dull, especially when their predecessor was simply the better game.

    Just what I've been waiting for: more enemies spawning randomly around on my PC screen.
  • mrpsb #21 10 months ago

    Oh DA2 I tried to like you, I really did. Then I played through the 2 witcher games and now I don't.
