Played this recently on PC after EG first reported 2 coming to live. STILL awesome games.

I would have been surprised if your HD telly made the game "play" worse.

Either way happy that the youngsters will learn the awesomeness that is Doom I & II

Yep - there should be an optional voice track to accompany these '...10 mins' vids.

You'd better hope that Hard Drivin' doesn't get an XBLA release then!

I wish Sonic Clang would have redone the D2 OST, like he did for Classic Doom 3. Just listen to the awesomeness that is E1M8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKLwPypD4_I
Just imagine what he could do with Doom 2's Map 07, "Shawn's got the shotgun", or Map 09 "Into Sandy's City".

Agreed. Final Fight: Double Impact was one of the best emulation efforts I've seen in a long while. Doom II could have been optimised like that. 32 new levels though so at least that's something great.
@gungrave
Erm, what... 64 levels in total (32 of them new) plus online deathmatch isn't worth 800 points?
