Can an i7 and GTX295 overclock bring us any closer to the Crysis 1080p60 achievement?

Those large draw distances holding all of that water and foliage really does a number on frame rates... The extraordinarily pretty explosions also pwn the fps.

I have a 1090t 6 core running at stock 3,2 Ghz with 8gb DDR3 RipjawX 1333 DDR3 and 2 HD6950 2GB gpu's in crossfire for a total of 4GB dedicated videomemory. crysis on very high settings averages about 45-50 frames with me. It'll easily hit 60+ in smaller area's but the hardcore stuff like Harbor Assault I'm not getting above 50 fps.

Running Crysis 1080p/60 ? Maybe on an i7 2600k paired with an HD6990 but I'm sure even that will dip at some point.
