The visual tone of a game is set way before release, often before any programming has taken place at all. As the concept art for a project as big as Diablo III is so extensive and beautiful, it seems a shame to let it go to waste. Instead, Blizzard have compiled this lovely video of the highlights. Feast your eyes.

There MUST be a special edition with a massive artbook and huge black slip case with gold writing embossed on it....this MUST happen.
I was a bit stunned when Blizz said there was no multiplayer in D3 though....

yes...that last bit was a wind-up...the writings going to be silver.....
