I know I'll slayed by a digital storm of nerd rage when I say this -
BUT I think the graphics & animations look shite. Sorry.
And the game play really mediocre.

I want to be excited about this title & I genuinely hope to be proved wrong.

This is my next purchase, after having bought nothing and only rented games since Portal 2. So I have high hopes. I've actually not read much about it or seen many videos, and I'm a touch apprehensive that they may have dumbed it down like a lot of other developers have with their titles this generation.

First day purchase. I seriously have high hopes that Eidos managed to reboot this series again and learned from Deus Ex2. Eidos made the right calls with the Tomb Raider franchise (pulling it from Core and giving it to CD) - so they do have experience of reboots. fingers crossed!

@CrispyLog Yes, I think it played during the footy at the weekend.

It's a nice ad. Kind of lures you in seeming like it's just for a car or something and doesn't go the usual way of having a ton of crappy FMV footage which I think turns non gamers off. Deus Ex not exactly a name most young, dumb gamers are aware of so the more the merrier, hope it's great and it sells shitloads.
