Note: the beginning contains a reference to Icarus, who in Greek myth flew too close to the sun and died - and was in Deus Ex was one half (they other being Daedalus, Icarus' father) of the super-computer that formed Helios. All these systems played a vital part of the stories of both Deus Ex and Invisible War.

not impressed. Dear me the dialogue, typical text book cliched junk, sounds like its copied and pasted out of a high school diary. The script in deus ex 1 was imaculate and dark, yet had a certain wit that shone through, especailly the meetings in mandeleys office, dont mess this up eidos and dont let squarenix offload their final fantasy writers on this

It may not reach the heights of DX1 but I'm looking forward to playing as Logan Denton here. If it's half the game the first Deus Ex was it'll still be a great game. After Invisible War most peoples expectations for a new game have decreased somewhat. Without these expectations for a game that rivals the first DX most people will hopefully be able to enjoy what is (hopefully) a damn fine game.

If you want to make enemies then change something. Like Deus Ex gameplay maybe.

Anyway, I hear that cigarettes and whisky are gritty and mature and that protagonist looks angry and no doubt will be holding a gun on the box art. I predict big things for this game. Big things.

@CptFantastic: That always massively confused me. They had Ion Storm's later game Thief: Deadly Shadows, so it should've been simplicity itself to convert DX:IW. Oh well, you'll have to get it on PC instead.

Judging a game, with zero news on its actuality, from 3 seconds of dialogue is really kinda silly.

What is weird, apart from the reference someone explained, is the fact that he's an old mecha model augment rather than being full nanomachine.
