Look hot-damn amzing. want to see some gameplay before deciding on a pre-order, but looking great.
is this still going to be an FPS though? Looks like a lot of close quarter fighting. Blades, and cool head snapping hands?

Very cool trailer, but I'm still confused as to whether this is in-game footage (i.e. engine running realistically) or cgi. If it's cgi, why the EG question about the combat? Surely we can't really rely on this to give us an indication of true gameplay.

Awesome FMV - hope the gameplay emulates the feel of the trailer

Looks very action based, which of course alot of decent trailers are. But the thing that made Deus Ex special was it was all about choices you could if you were so inclined to get thourgh the game with very little firepower and rely on your wits and planning.

Lets hope this is a true sequel/prequel and not just a quick cash in for the current generation of consoles (i will be playing on PC)

What a fantastic trailer. I remember playing Deus Ex: Invisible War on the original Xbox and I absolutely loved it.

So that's what Tokyo will look like in 17 years time :o

@Sharzam: I'm kinda a little worried about the direction it's taking too. The trailer is stunning, and if it wasn't a Deus Ex game I think I'd be very interested, but I can't help but feel that it's really not in the spirit of the original Deus Ex. Lines like "I'll take you to Hell!" in the trailer seem especially out of place, and at odds with the series' intelligent roots. Then again I'm not sure that anything will ever be able to match up to, or do justice to, the original Deus Ex in my eyes, so perhaps it's just that. Either way, fingers crossed it turns out brilliantly, and hopefully the macho trailer is just to draw more people in or something.

Was that Batman doing the voice over?

Looks brilliant, I hope that the entire game isn't as over-acted and dumbed down as the trailer though.

Everyone in it sounds like they're reading from scripts rejected from 24 for being too simplistic.

Felt a bit like the Mass Effect 2 trailers for some reason, I think it was the music.

Brilliant stuff and I like the potential of the 'transformer hands' for gameplay options but I just hope they keep the tactical freedom andbranching storylines of the original.

Are Square Eniq Japan in charge of the CG cause that looks f'in immense.

That was the one thing about the first 20 hours *sigh* of FFXIII that I loved. The cutscenes looked beautiful, had pretty good lip syncing and we're well shot. Shame about the bits inbetween.

I take it you've never climbed ontop of something, only to drop an explosive crate or something like that on a guard, just because? Stuff like that made Deus Ex fun to do, killing people in outrageous ways.

    this looks incredible

puts mass effect 2's launch trailer to shame

Wow great trailer. The develiopers clearly understand Deus Ex. Sarif Industries is making an incredible contribution to humanity but possibly destroying the fabric of society at the same time. Detroits a great place to have riot, its an icon for the working class. Incredible. Now how do you turn this into a slow paced thinking rpg. Can't wait to see it.

I hope that big enforcer guy was Herman from Deus Ex- 25 years is a long time but he did complain he was old in the original game.
