That was quite entertaining! I'd love to be really critical of Tom, but having played the demo I was just as bad! There's no intro and training is in the full version only so you get battered at the start. Long range Viking sword throw looked like a good cheap tactic, kept taking half the health there near the end.

Looks really good actually. I saw this on XBLA last night but something about the title made me think it was a naff side scrolling fighting game a la Final Fight. Glad I watched this video... will deffo check this out now.

Great how your pirate head-buts a shield... that must be effective

BTW game looks pretty good actually. A rather realistic attempt at melee. PC game port? It looks familiar.

The pirate is shite though. Should never have beaten the feudal knight in the show. That was daylight robbery.

Does everyone really think this looks good? My eyes must be faulty, 'cos I thought it looked terrible. All the "choose a fighter from history" stuff is fun, but the bare mechanics of running about and fighting just don't seem very sharp. Depends what you compare it to I guess.

@RM2KMaster - If it was then I wouldn't have said it was good because, IMO, Street Fighter IV was the most overrated game I'd ever had the misfortune to play! Hated it!

haha looks hilarious and frustrating at the same time. nice concept but they've focused too much on realism and removed a lot of the fun. the variety of characters and weapons is great, just a same about the fighting mechanics.

part of what makes the show interesting is that normally each warrior gets tired and quite often the key to winning is being aware of your surroundings and using the environment to your advantage.
