Serious question. Why would a spaceship have dark corridors? If you ever see a space shuttle mission, the place is brightly lit so that accidents don't occur. Yet every sci-fi shooter out there has the lights switched off or they are using 1 watt bulbs for everything.

Someone...anyone...please make a sci-fi shooter where the corridors are lit as they would be on an actual spaceship i.e. with frakkin' bright bulbs!

Because this spaceship is badly damaged and systems are failing. There are some well lit rooms in the game.

Playstyle of this game looks a bit more along the lines of a onrails shooter. the orginal is a geniune horror game with good shooter mechanic even considering the wiis limited graphics i jsut cant see this working.

I thought it was so dark to cover up how crappy the Wii's graphics are..

I think we can chalk the lack of working lights up to the fact that there's crazy alien monster things tearing the freakin' place apart. Also, the visuals actually look pretty decent for a Wii game, especially the human/alien models and animations.

I guess not many people have ever seen emergency lighting then. It's actually very bright, it's just a different colour than normal lighting to let you know you are on emergency power.

I really do wish someone would make a space shooter with proper lights. The horror should come from suprise attacks and strong clever enemies, not from being able to see absolutely nothing more than 2 meters ahead of you!
