Despite having an animation style reminiscent of an '80s Saturday morning TV show, this isn't one for the kiddies. Releasing on the same day as the game, the story covers the gap between the end of the comic book series and the start of the game proper. Features dismemberment, evisceration and potentially, shock, overly developed breasts.

Blown their load a bit early with all this. The story looks good enough for a live action film, couldn't they have just waited till the games release and tried shopping the licence to movie studios.

A cartoon is fine, but I was hoping for a traditional movie. From what I've seen of the narrated comics they've already made it's pretty much ready made film material.

Eeeh-Aye are really sending out some muddied messages with the visual design of this game/comic/film project.
(they are chasing a movie tie-in apparently mr Inquisitor)
it either shows a lack of faith in one style or too many producers sticking their ten pence worth.
Stay in one style you fools, this may be the first decent new IP since desert strike.

Looks cool I might pick up the Blu hope this game turns out as good and scary as it's looking.

I reckon this looks pretty good - a lot better than the actual game itself IMO, which just looks like Doom3 all over again.

Seriously tho, what is it with devs and a total lack of imagination lately - this started off as a Alien /Aliens rip-off (as Oh-Bollox said) and only just managed to stand out on its own by the end. Who else is bored of publishers all jumping on the bandwagon of WW2, post-apocalypse, or whatever else has recently been successful.

Not bad for western animation, I would even say it is looking really nice. Hopefully the rest of the movie (apart from animation) won't disappoint.

Peter Chung would have been ace but I can't remember the last serious project he's ever done. Most recent were his movie tie-ins for The Matrix and Riddick. Fun spin-offs but nothing enough to get my teeth in to.

This could be fun but maybe only a rental.

There's so few feature length animated films aimed at over 18s that I think we should be glad to get something like this at all.

And the latest Marvel ones have been gradually creeping towards being decent. Evolution is a slow process!
