Very pleased to be seeing some single player DLC for once and not another goddamn map pack.

I don't know whether to feel cynical about the quick release of the DLC but...

...I bloody love DS2 and have played the campaign through twice with a third to follow soon. I don't think I can resist this DLC.

Going to go for the hardcore trophy this weekend on DS2.

Love love love Dead Space & Dead Space 2 but this trailer looks really run of the mill stuff, to the point where I'd be as well playing through one of the other games again for all the difference it will make.

It's certainly less offensive than many DLCs out there - new enemies, new characters etc. Not just a map pack eh?

    Dead Space Extraction Spoiler:-

Those of you who have played to the end know that we cannot tell if, at the end, either Gabe or Nathan were infected and became Necro - or what happened to Lexine as a result. I'm actually surprised that Gabe The Brit lives while Nathan The American Who is The Main Character is dropped. Surprised but happy....

Excited until I saw that it looks like it's not coming to the PC. WHY? CRY!
  • Ledd #10 1 year ago

you've should've removed the PC tag since it's not going to be on PC, but i presume you still hope for it

Well, looks interesting but with Killzone 3 and DA2 I won't really have time to go back to Dead Space 2 for quite some time. But one day I'll check this out.
Also, a necromorph with a flashlight? Yup, main selling point, saved for the demo...

They really, REALLY need to sort out whoever is directing the voice acting. That intro spiel sounds less like a man whose waking nightmare has caught up to him again, and more like a grumpy householder whose neighbour's cat keeps crapping in his flowerbed. It's not enough to just EMOTE, it's got to be the *right* emotion!
