I like the juxtaposition between the mournful music and the fact that, from what's been shown, this is a game about punching zombies in the head with a samurai sword.

The concept for this sounds great but as obercorpse said, its from Techland so it could be tripe! Hoping it turns out well though. Left 4 Dead mixed with Dead Rising mixed with Far Cry and some RPG elements could make it a winner!

Why isn't a survival horror game enough with just normal people turned zombies as adversaries? Why must there be giants and fatties spewing acid and zombies who explode?? I wish they had done this more down to earth, just regular people stricken by some horrible disease.. Oh well, still on pre-order for me.

Er, anyway, is this mainly a multiplayer game a la L4D or is there a single player mode too?

is it just me or the advert before the trailer for dead island is .... DEAD ISLAND TRAILER?! Surely that's just wasting advertising space... I KNOW ABOUT THE GAME i've choosen to watch a vid about it.. show me a different game that i dont know about!!

@shikasama--what, don't all black rapper guys say "Booya!" Yes, i too am in the camp that's in wait 'n see mode about this one. Not to mention, my few friends who do play games, usually Mario Kart w/ their small children, are not gonna be into co-op zombie slaughter. So a good SP experience is a must for Dead Island to make into my disc tray.
