    Cutting ropes to cause logs to fall on enemies is truly the new lens flare...

    Whoa, stunning interaction and combat, 360 as well please.

    Awesome, this game is gonna rawk. It may come out like HL2 did for the Xbox but it may not be "pretty" enough for the 360 ;)

    Hopefully the giant being bonked gently on the head is no indication of the gameplay in general! Wouldn't want that combat system to go to waste...

    Since when does stabbing a creature in the eye look like a gentle bonking?

    Besides think about the size comparison between it and the log (if that's what u meant), it would be the equivalent of a baseball bat swinging towards you, it wouldn't kill you now would it?

    Well, it looks cool and the body awareness is nice, but they REALLY need to sort out the arms and legs animation - when the character is running, the arms are really distracting and the leg looks a little weird when kicking. Liked the being picked up and thrown bits and bows and arrows are always nice!
  • Shrimp #10 6 years ago

    Yes, sorry, I meant the bit where the log hits him *quite gently* on the leg, before the eye-stabbing (which was cool). The giant looks like he just stops and gives up at that point, which looks daft after he's been hit in the head by some impressive guided fireballs, shot in the eye with arrows, etc.

    To me, it looks like you have a great opportunity for emergent gameplay, based on all the spells, combat moves, etc, but then it gets stripped away for a particular boss battle, to be replaced with about the most over-used game mechanic of the year (or was it last year?)

    And the narrator seems extremely proud of this!

    We'll have to wait for some first impressions I guess. I hope it comes good :)

    @Shrimp

    Agree 100%

    It definitely has potential, so I hope it comes together in time for release.

    Lol, they have both special weapons from Duke Nukem 3D.
