This looks just like Witchbat or whatever it's called.

Oh my lord, how bad is that? It's got level design out of the 90s. BAD level design from the 90s! They even did a handy fly-through to show it off. Great scene setting fantasy music there too, with that electric guitar...

Crap animation, shite textures, low poly-count and not even an attempt a decent character animation. What amazes me more than anything else is that they're still bothering! Mythic have never had a clue and it doesn't look like they're getting one now.

I've got to agree with Lurks. I'd pity myself if I was playing this.

Well DAoC is what, 4-5 years old now, right? Critisising the visuals is a little harsh as surely with games like this it's more about the experience than the eye candy.

If people are still playing this then fair play to Mythic for continuing to support it.

Mythic clearly don't have a clue, they must never have had a clue what with daoc being the template other mmo's are based on.

Lurks.. you do realise this is an MMORPG?

Level design? People expect dungeons to move through and hit mobs with big weapons. That is a bout it.

Textures? HELLLOOOOO??? This game needs to display shitloads of different character all with their own individual armor pieces and weapons. textures cannot be high res in MMORPGs. Have you checked WoW textures?

I think it is just a pity that DoaC has no cheapo box to buy including all expansion. Maybe more people would try it out.

Also... what does this Labyrinth do for new players? (or aren't there any new players coming in?)
