Damnation - Multiplayer trailer

You know how it is, you wait ages for a 'vertical shooter' then two come along at once. How many of us where actually waiting for a vertical shooter is debatable, but this and Dark Void certainly seem to be quite keen on the concept. Time shall tell.

    I like the jumping around and environment interaction. Shame the maps look dead dull.

    It will be very interesting to see how the controls translate to the tight constraints of a controller. If it's context sensitive then I hope to dear God it works because this looks fun, Bionic Commando may however steal it's thunder.

    Hmm, multiplayer empahsised here but I don't think there's anything special about it. Vertical gameplay? Heard that before, can't think which game, it just makes life harder. "Gunfire from all directions", actually isn't fun. It is fun when you have an idea of where the enemy is, then they use cunning to surprise you and you have to react accordingly. Not when you can be killed from above with no hope of swinging your aim around in time, especially on a controller.

    Accent : I think he's Asian. Near-perfect rendition of an American accent but with very slight seepage from Korean or something.

    That doesn't bother me though, what gets me is the TV-shopping host delivery. Drives me nuts, usually puts me right off the product.
