That is great level design, shooters are generally way too horizontal when it's often the vertical gameplay that is interesting.

Shooters are usually very horizontal because that is what works, what feels natural. Verticality, to use their word, can be visually very impressive, but awkward for fast action gameplay. Hopefully the developer has managed to avoid that.

The levels certainly do look very impressive.

Wow! That's amazing... a truly revolutionary approach to game design, that's for sure.

Best of luck to them, though I think they'll find the odds stacked against them.
