Conan - Trailer

Nihilistic Software's gory combat game was in danger of playing second Barbarian fiddle to Funcom's Hyborian MMO. A few displays of the slick graphics and combat engine have put paid to that however, and anticipation is now high.

    I see developers still aren't confident enough to stop using shiny sparks and flaming trails when someone swings a blade...

    I like the gore, but the flashing effects on the sword are offputting. I cant see this game being up to much.

    Looks like a God of War rip off to me. Who came up with this crap? Let's put Conan on a boat with a sea monster ala the very first level of GOW and then let's put it in our trailer. Brilliant. Nihilistic is still second barbarian fiddle.
