C&C: Red Alert 3 - Talent

Blimey they do actually have 'talent', i thought it was going to be Hollyoaks The RTS.

Never really understood the complete pointlessness of the live action video in C&C, brings nothing to the game and is far away as you could possibly get from it being ANYTHING like the gameplay/perspective of camera etc.

Just pointless in my opinion. Should have spent the god knows how many millions on the game dev instead to make it that bit more polished and revolutionary.

needs more Tanya, Russian chick, Hollyoaks girl and the Japanese girl.

Tim Curry is awesome, but that is the most comedy Russian accent I have ever heard.

Although, always loved this style of in game video. It never fails to amuse.

Surely those of you complaining about the live action video bits in C&C games are forgetting about the awesomeness that was the original Red Alert intro. It sets up the alternative future angle a lot better than reading the back of the box would.

I can't understand why people are cussing the live action in this game. It's a staple of Red Alert and C&C and adds far more entertainment, involvement than any rendered cgi cutscene ever would.

It really wouldn't be the same without the cheesy live action, it suits the game perfectly. So fuck off.

What I loved about red alert 1, is that most of the units appeared somewhat feasible, so that when you got to tesla tanks and chrono tanks etc, they looked awesome and different and exciting.

In RA: 2 everything looks really over the top, so that none of the high end units really have any rewarding factor to aquiring them (except for their power on the battlefield obviously).

3 looks like it will continue in this fashion.

Seems a bit against the period setting of the whole thing.
