EA Los Angeles' fourth game in the long-running RTS series is due out for PC only next year, and includes an RPG-like progression system. Here's the first trailer.

I loved C&C 3 so looking forward to this alot. I HATED the trash that was Red Alert 3 though so I am praying they don't let the game designers anywhere near this.

The units are horribly designed AGAIN, being made out of cubes put together with "sci-fi" textures on them (seen in the screenshots on the official site). What a dump, can't they just hire a proper unit concept artist. And there's too much usage of the Agency FB font in trailers nowadays

For the love of Nod, please EA make the text bigger enough to read on an SD display! In fact if EA could make that a rule of thumb for all their titles it would save me a few trips to spec savers.

(sorry I know this a pc thread but this will no doubt head to consoles too) (I hope!)

To the comment about HD resoultions.

I highly doubt this will head to consoles as EA have said they wont be doing it. The reasons ive heard so far are that finacially developing a seperate system for the consoles costs time and money which they didnt get back (C&C3 didnt sell well on consoles) when the time would be better spent on games designed for consoles.

Also can see in this very page "due out for PC only next year"

Edit: oh about the trailer nice to see C&C4 confirmed but doesnt really tell us anything but hey thats the point of a reveal trailer isnt it
