Why are they comparing DirectX 11 to 9? Really, water ripples were achieved in DirectX 8. Post-processing is the most impressive, and I am pretty sure it can be achieved with DirectX 10.
If DX11 turns out to be another case of DX10 - a minor graphical and performance update - it's going to be disappointing.
