So this is Call of Duty 3 that isn't actually CoD3 because it's not coming out on PC and is just the consoles screwing up the naming? :/

What disappoints me from that video is that when the rocks from the church spier are coming down, they all of a sudden fade away. Surely that is a "set piece" in the game, and I'd expect the physics to allow that at least.

    Next gen my @rse

It looks like they've captured the awesome atmosphere of CoD2 and added a few bells and whistles, which is all good by my book. Is this definitely not coming out for PC ever then?

Oh and I am SO SICK of that Prey trailer now.

    LOL at ralph.

Looks no way near the CGIness of that linked video. Looks like a slightly less jaggy CoD2 to me.

I've gotta stop complaining about this series now.

Dave - this isn't done by Infinity Ward (who did CoD and CoD2) - they're doing their own sequel (as far as I know), hence why it's not "the real CoD3". Still, looks pretty nice though.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I watched the trailer. What's the point in making the explosions as realistic as possible when it doesn't have an effect on the gameplay? The preview leaves me with the impression that this game is yet another Allied Assault clone, just prettier.

@Itamae. Completely agree. When I saw the Call of Duty 3 trailer around E3, it looked vastly different. Rocks came down from explosions and players were taking cover.

This video illustrates that CoD 3 is no different to the others, in my view.
