i think teenagers worldwide owe a great debt of thanks to all the nations who have engaged in bloody, vicious warfare so that 70 years later we could all amuse ourselves by turning it into a videogame to fill our idle time with. thanks guys, and keep up the killing so that future generations can have the same amusement!

LOL @ EG calling a standard definition video "high-quality" in the link. Surely high-quality would be a high-definition video... no?

they keep showing those damn destructible fences like it's some revolutionary new game mechanic that's going to sell the game. they were showing it off in early videos and now it's found its way into the trailer... twice. and what's more, there's only once type of fence, so we're meant to believe that everyone in france/germany has the same bloody white picket fence.

I'm not all that fussed about the game itself, but the graphics and technology here look seriously dated next to some recent first and third person shooters.

What's with the grenade explosions sending people flying!?

Would be cool if instead of these guys repeating goddamn Western front stuff, how about some Eastern Front things? Perhaps from the German perspective? I don't think I can take any more self-righteous wanks, I mean yanks, 'winning WW2' anymore...

Looks what the finished product could actually look like, which is obviously a minor let down in contrast to previous trailers - but then again, this is how it always goes. I'm still saying it's really stupid how you can just duck behind a wooden fence that gradually disintegrates with gunfire. It would be no problem at all to stick to such elements that actually give you proper cover whereas wooden fences only keep the enemy from seeing you. Rifle bullets go right through a thin board like that. Prvious BiAs were awesome, however, and I expect this to be nothing else.

I’m really looking forward to this - previous games were a gritty and thought provoking alternative to the COD/MOH shooting galleries. Watching Band of Brothers again now to get myself 'in the mood'.

Sweet! A WW2 game! I was getting worried the industry had gotten past it.
Usually these are ok because they all have a new gimmick, but what's this game's gimmick?
Bullet time? Destroyable stuff? Looks kinda meh.

it's gimmick is destructable fences. everything else comes second.
