Brothers In Arms Hell's Highway - Ubidays trailer

Randy Pitchford's WWII opus has come under fire for being part of a dying breed, can he bring enough innovation to a tired genre to revitalise it?

Watching the live Ubidays feed I loved how the army dude built up the trailer as if it would change peoples lives for the better. Then all it showed was mostly slow motion flying nazi's. Easily the least impressive trailer for the game thus far.

Sooo.... what's with the communication lapse? why isn't anyone moving?

Looks pretty good but I'd like to have seen a brighter level. And the repeating dialogue will get very annoying!

I agree with Haloboy! (and the others, too). Not as impressive as I thought it'd be. Gameplay looks stale.

As an avid fan of air punching, I am looking forward to this game immensely.

i love brothers in arms, but this has me disappointed, and the voice overs could get really annoying really fast. What have you done ubi to a great series?? and do you really need a screen to tell you to reload? delayed for a year and a half for this? Randy you have a lot to answer for!

Sorry, but that looks extremely poor when up against most FPS style games out there today (except Hazelol).

This video has at least made me decide not to look for more info on the game ;)

Is it a bad sign that the gameplay is so poor, I didn't even make it all the way through the trailer?

Oh cool, look! A walking thumb..er.. amazing.

    Gave up half way through

Unfortunately, i don't think it looks any better than the mid 2006 trailer; not that it looks bad.

I haven't bought a WWII game in many years so am keen for this to be good.

Anyone for a cup of meh?

errr... just a reality check, thewolfiv, Randy Pitchford doesn't really answer to YOU, you know. Also this looks miles more solid than the ridiculous order system and retarded AI from the previous games in the series. And oh, there's a prompt to reload. How annoying to those who prefer determining how full their clip is from the hollow sound when shooting, but you know, I think I'll survive the humiliation. And I don't think they spent the last year and a half implementing that...

Nothing spectacular, but my cup of tea. I can't wait for the day this gets merged into one game with the likes of CoH.

I'm confused, he's using an M1 Garand yet reloads before he's out of ammo? I'm pretty sure with that gun you had to use up all the bullets then the clip would pop out? I may be wrong though.
