I feel like I've been following this game for ages. I'm hoping that's its as refreshing as we've been led to believe.

    Just release the thing already.

I've been so psyched for this for such a long time.

Bethesda kinda messed up last year by delaying this finished game but releasing New Vegas. Would probably have been smarter to release this and delay New Vegas to work on it's "quality issues"

I just hope the teamplay lives up to the hype.

So, the characters won't have accents? For some reason I think french-accented english is just right in this game.

All well and good, but what I really want to know is the release date! I am desperate for this game, just tell us when it's out for pity's sake.

I have just one question. Does this game have any
destructability features like for example Battlfield Bad
Company 2, the forthcoming Crysis 2 etc ?

Because the graphics are nice but you know destructability
makes the gameplay more dynamic and live. Its something
that once you have, then its abscence makes you feel like
something is missing from the FPS genre.

Look at the 3 Container City vids, some of the terrain gets blown up there. It's not Battlefield style destructibility though, looks scripted. Though I have no doubt that the SMART movement system could cope with destructible terrain I'm not sure if the story elements of the game could. In one of the container city vids the dev bloke climbs up to an elevated platform to repair and operate a crane, if the platform was destructible and then destroyed that particular objective couldn't be completed which would halt the story.

I like the dynamic feel that destructible terrain gives, but it has to be a good fit with the rest of the gameplay and I'm not certain that would be the case here.

    @Murton

Thanks for your quick reply to my question.
My basic concern about destructibility is on lets
say smaller scale objects like crates, cement boulders
flowerpots, wooden or light sheet metal fences
    etc.
In any case I have no doupt that the team behind
Brink are doing a great job and have considered
all the aspects of offering a great gameplay combined
with a strong story plot. I wish them the best.

Possibly one of my most anticipated games this year. Looks fantastic. I'm glad they are taking their time with this, and hopefully not releasing a buggy game.

Love the inappropriate music, it is like a gangster film.
My mistake I was listening to the Klaxons.
