I like the Red Silenced Shotgun, my kind of weapon.

This kind of looks and feels a bit like Team Fortress 2, anyone else think this? Not that that's a bad thing, I was just expecting something else I guess

Needs more brown/grey if it wants to compete with the big boys. Vibrant colours make chavs angry and confused, and if you want them to flock to your game to compete with CoD, you're gonna have to go the grey/brown route im afraid.

Looks even better the more I see of it. Really hope it does well and the servers stay busy for a long time.

Looks like the love child of TF2 and Borderlands...

Does it have a proper single-player (coop?) campaign? Or is just objective-based multiplayer?

Loving the bright palette I hope it looks like enslaved and plays like TF, I see the TF comparisons but this has got to be a lot bigger. If it plays like Borderlands that is a friendly mechanic, but I imagine it will be a lot more sophisticated. I think it will be a 7, EG has been giving lots 8 because it is a fine year.

@Mockerre: there was a preview of this in Edge 2011 where they said of the SP campaign that "while we've yet to play it, we very much doubt whether it'll be anything other than training wheels for the online mode, which also features a story and cutscenes...". They then go on to say that "Newcomers might want to cut their teeth in the SP mode anyway....since it uses teh standard game mechanics, AI players can be swapped in and out at will for real people. What starts as SP could end up as versus, co-op, or a mix of both, but any of them will be less imtimidating than trying to learn the ropes on a random server."

Sounds interesting, though I would appreciate clarity by way of a review piece of final code. It sounds very much like a MP focused title which is no bad thing - I'm happy for MP titles to remain solely that (let's face it, CoD franchise would benefit from cutting the nonesense SP campaign out!), and the same goes for SP titles that try to bolt on useless MP.

Personally I have optimistically high hopes think that this'll be the MP shooter to finally drag me away from Reach. I felt like I missed the boat on TF2, so this would be a welcome addition to my gaming library....

not sure about the "self resurrection" but looking good overall!

Argh I don't like the aim down the barrel mechanic, it makes games less dynamic. Alway prefer to run and gun than run, walk then gun. May still get this, not sure tho
  • asphaltcowboy #13 1 year ago

@Mockerre Pretty sure the whole story is playable in SP (with and vs bots), Co-op (against bots) and Multiplayer...

Can't wait for this! Enemy Territory pumped to the MAX!

I was really looking forward to this, until I saw the other video were you have a disguise perk. That ability ruined Killzone 3 online and I will not be buying this game.
