At the risk of disappearing under a tonne of negative 1s. I have to be honest and say I didn't get it. What exactly is this game about?

I mean where exactly was the RPG element in all of that?

Apparently being able to go up levels and find randomized equipment now qualifies you to be an RPG.

To be fair, they didn't exactly call it a RPG either. The trailer clearly states that "FPS and RPG had a baby = Role Playing Shooter".. I guess you go on missions, gain xp and level up your character.. and your car?

Doesn't really matter which category you put it in, it looks like a bloody fun game to me!

Think Diablo. It's basically a loot grinding game, you shoot enemies, level up, earn new powers and collect better loot to shoot more enemies, reach higher levels and get even better loot.

I sense a "the true definition of an RPG" debate brewing :)

I can also see the "leveling up is not playing a role" side of things (you should have seen me getting my nose out of joint back in the days of Diablo 1, whenever someone called it an RPG just 'cos it had wizards in it), but if the game is fun I won't worry too much about it.

I am sold on this, looks superb. I think my only complaint is the little numbers rising from enemies when you hit, but all things considered I can certainly live with that.

I swear I heard this song, or a cover of it at least, in a trailer for Army of Two.

I'd love to play this in split-screen Halo style co-op...

Really not sure. One minute it looks pretty cool, the next it looks pretty rubbish and dated. A well produced trailer but i am going to go out on a limb and guess that it will not be all that. I may be wrong though.

That is a really excellent trailer. 4 player co-op has me very interested, but I hope it has a proper plot and narrative to follow, and isn't just about grinding...

Simple. Clean. With humour. Representative of the game.

Horrible art direction. Looks effing fugly as f*ck. Might be a good game though!

Seems people are divided on the art style.. Personally, I think it looks great, it adds a lot of personality to the game and it's good to see an FPS besides Halo that doesn't just use brown and grey.
