Don't get me wrong it looks nice, but i don't like the inneffective weapons. Standing in front of someone and unloading a whole clip in their face whilst taking damage yourself doesn't seem fun to me.

Looks ace but framerate seems a bit dodgy. I hope it is the video.

And yes.. the massive amount of shooting might get a bit boring (Yeah i know it is an RPG system like Fallout 3). Also almost no blood or impact physics?

Was kinda waiting for this one since theres bit of shortage on modern diablo like games and i have vague memory for this being in that territory, even if on the edge. Nevertheless those undepowered firearms are bit turn off for me. No matter how mutated or such enemies are, whole frigging clips on smg or similar weapon to kill one... sheesh.

I was initially highly annoyed by what seemed like an insistence on playing with a party - if this is an RPG, I want to be able to play my chosen role alone or in company, thanks. However it seems like it's possible to do that. Do you have to take one of the four pre-assigned characters or can you do whatever you want? Could you have two snipers, for example?

The low damage is a slight worry but then again the creatures didn't seem that dangerous either, so I have to assume it's like most RPGs in that your crappy gun is fine for crappy enemies and the better kit comes along later, in time for the nails badmen. I'm also putting a certain amount of leeway into the equation to allow for people playing, as they clearly were, on pads, and thus not being able to actually aim properly.

Hope there's as much basic exploration in this as there is gunning down legions of cattlepunk mooks. Shooting is great as long as there's other things to do too.

I love the look of the game, but i have to agree with paul.doh! about the (seemingly) uneffective guns.

The blue machinegun is like a plastic toy. And the AI looks weak. Meh.

I agree with most of the comments above. Idea sounded great but watching the combat has left me thinking meh. Guns look weak and the combat seems to consist of run toward enemy, enemy runs towards you, stand and shoot at enemy, enemy shoots at you. Somebody dies. Rinse and repeat :(

The game looks great but everything else looks really boring and uninspired.

have to agree... firearms totally suck :/
using hole clips and reloads just on a single enemy ??
sorry but pass on this game

PS3 version - X button reloads. Nice water, but game looks a bit bland.
    Need a demo.

The graphics are really nice with good fps, you just need to get used to them.

Playing the campain coop is really a nice fearture on the PC, a lot more fun than singleplayer, eventhough the game is good in that mode too.

I like games like Stalker where guns behave realistically too, but this way simply presents a different challange, it should not be a reason to keep away. Unless you really cant stand gameplay like that.
If you're not too sure wether to get it or not, wait for a price drop and at least get it then.

Borderlands is definitely one of the nicer surpises this year (at least on the PC).
