Well, that's simply awesome. Real life Daredevil, no less. I salute.

    Amazingly impressive.

Takes 'trial and error' gaming to whole new levels.

Good point about how good the sound in the Abe titles was. I'm sure this is something a lot of titles fail to prioritise.

    Homefront looks dull as fuck!

That's amazing! Something like this never even crossed my mind. The way sound in a video-game can be used so that a blind person can play it, simple awesome!

Reminded me of the story of a blind kid who a Soul Calibur 2 tourney in the US defeating fully sighted players by sound alone. It's truly amazing what some people with disabilities can achieve with a little ingenuity.

Great story and a good interview too. Been too long since I last played Abe, got it on Plus a couple months ago so think I'll load it up this afty and relive my childhood for an hour two before nostalgia sets in and makes me wish for a HD remake of Flashback.

    Incredible.

I couldn't even try to imagine how playing any game by sound alone is possible, but major credit goes to Oddworld Inhabitants for making it achievable.

Interesting. I do take his points on 3D environments without good sound design. I never even try modern platformers at all, just because i'm not interested enough to struggle for months. See no point in wasting my time. Anything else, sports, quizzes, even fighting, i'm game any time. SVR 11, Fight night 4, UFC, anything like that.

Abe Exodus class. He does Karate, that is a Fps, good luck to him, I hope he influences some game designers.
