DON'T BUY IT! The game is host-based, it doesn't have servers (like BFBC2). I played one hour of the trial version and host migrated 3 times.

Why do they keep trying to rip-us off? COD4 for consoles has proven that peer-to-peer is dead. It offers the advantage to the host and host migration doesn't work all the time.

Their twitter puts the PC release about a week off, possible also available through Steam. PSN maybe 6 weeks off?
The same post suggests they are looking at dedi-servers for post-release.

@Eraysor, have you played MAG? This game looks completely sterile. When you are part of an army of 128 players attacking an enemy stronghold, calling in airstrikes and artillery strikes, designating objectives and targets that determine the battle's outcome etc., there is nothing like it on consoles. If you have the choice MAG is clearly far, far superior.
