I wonder how this turns out. OXM review gave it 95%. That was higher than expected.

PC Gamer gave it 90% which just sounds about right to me.

Also not sure why muscleblade was negged, as it's not in-game footage.

Looking forward to getting back in the habit! >_<
(Damn it, I think I just explained a joke, and therefore made it shit. Oh well.)

I'm usually relatively okay with ads on websites but that seems a tad silly.

Personally, I have a strong dislike for trailers that hide behind fancy CGI but in BioShock's case I'm willing to forgive it as I'm confident the game will be excellent.

I couldn't disagree with you more. In-game footage in a trailer is just a total cop out. It's probably taken the best part of a year to make this trailer and you clearly have no idea what is involved in making such a piece of media.
What you have totally missed here is that while you say it's misleading, this trailer actually shows a number of important in-game features. The Big Sister, protecting the Little Sister while she gathers Adam and subsequently this shows different types of Splicers, weapons and plasmids.

But they could easily show all that with in-game footage via some astute editing, and it would give gamers an actual idea of what the final game is going to be like.
People who don't know BioShock but buy the sequel based on this trailer are in for a big shock* when they find out how plodding the combat can be and how the game doesn't really rely on exciting set-pieces as seen here. That is, of course, assuming it's much the same as the first game.
*Pun not intended but I'll take it anyway.

A friend is currently reviewing it. The graphics has not improved much, but the combat is better. Its not like a ME2 over ME1 improvement im afraid. That was an improvement visually.
