With all of the praise and approbation which BC: Rearmed is receiving, it's possible to forget that a full 3D remake is also on the way. It's not a game we've seen a lot of so far, but from the looks of this, that's not because it needs hiding.

I'm confused as to why the guy from rearmed appears in the 3D version for a moment, unlockable charcter perhaps or maybe part of the story?

and I know that they are suppost to be the same person but they look different, perhaps a new Bionic Commando?

I think if you buy rearmed, you can use the retro character in the next gen version.

andyeah if u buy BG:Rearmed some way u grt to use the reto outfit when the 3D version comes out

Mm... I'm not so convinced. It doesn't look like there's much flow in the movement to me, which feels like a problem for a game based on swinging around on a big metallic arm. Somehow it looks quite slow. The attack animations are very pre-canned: the same ones were repeated a few times even in that short trailer. I'll definitely be waiting for reviews.

Does anyone else think the PS360 Bionic Commando is looking a bit rubbish? I saw loads of footage of it on Playr the other week, and I just thought it looked terribly repetitive and, well, a bit naff, really.

heh heh, never played BC but i love the NES tune transforming into the modern synth rendition.
surely it doesnt look that bad mr.Triggerhappytel? ...though theres something really weird happening with the ocean in the footage.
