If I want powerups I'll play Mario Kart :-(
I hate it when you're clearly the best racer in the race but someone uses a lame powerup and passes you.

btw, somewhere around the 2 minute mark in the video it got stuck for a few seconds.

I'm still unsure on this one. Loved PGR (except motobikes), but used to love Wipeout. Think I'll need a demo to convince me.

Will there be a PGR game lurking under this if you chose to turn power-ups off? Ideally, I'd have like PGR without kudos or cones, with an emphasis on racing, not points, no motorbikes, and all new locations. Power-ups could have been a fun sideline in this. But what do I know!

Got to love the strong accents, glad to see a company who isnt scared of putting non PR people in front of the camera. For the moment for me its Dirt2 this week, might be interested in this in the future, still a while away.

I agree. Split second looks better from what I've seen. I also don't think this has the damage model to support the powerups.
