The best things in life are free apparently, which explains why an original pressing of the White Album will cost you one and a half kidneys on Ebay. Battlefield Heroes is free, however, and although we haven't seen a great deal of it yet, it looks stiffeningly brilliant so far.

Wooden legs and Live and Let Die-style voodoo faces are awesome. 9/10.

When they say 'low-end PCs', how low do they mean? My crappy thing won't even run Far Cry, is there any point in taking an interest in this?

It grinds my gears. The theme song, not the game. It's like something from childrens tv, the teletubbies maybe.

I think the theme song is great and this game looks promissing... hopefuly not too aimed at micro transactions, but it will be... they need to make money and its EA.

I cannot imagine what you all see in this. I see what they're trying to do, but it completely fails on all counts. It looks like one of those mods for battlefield that clearly took tons of effort but still looks horrible and about 3 people worldwide ever play. Being free does not make it good.

And pah, running people over in planes...you could do that with Desert Combat, and that didn't look like WWII propaganda crossed with the Village People and had a touch more strategic depth than the apparent LOL I SHOTZED YUO of this thing.
