    Just a mod for BF2 that EA is going to sell 30£. Clever.

    Well the game looks good but have to agree with some points raised here. It does look like an advanced mod for BF2 (bar the titan mechanic). Lets hope they did optimise the engine cause the BF2 one had some glaring problems.

    Hmmm Dice havn't been influenced by the Quake Wars tutorials have they?

    Looks like a BF2 mod to me, I'm a big fan of the BF series but this looks like it'll be a BFVietnam until BF3 is out.

    The open beta was fantastic fun, I enjoyed it way more than BF2 (which I've played for about 250 hours), and that was with it crashing every 5 minutes.

    Getting in the mechs and stomping over the battlefield blasting everybody and everything away is soooooooo much fun.

    Just like BF2 it 'Looks Great' !!!! But , how long before it gets 'hacked to death' by cheating scum, on the 2142 public servers? It did'nt take long for them to do it on the current BF2 public servers... Which they have really spoilt by the way! You can barely find 'any' clean BF2 servers now (Unless You Run One Yourself!) so, how long untill they get to work on BF2142 !??? Such a shame..!!!
    But they (EA) know that, I know that, they know that, we'll all end up splashing out for it anyways! Guess we'll have to wait & see?!

    After playing the original Enemy Territory for years and seeing the new ET-Quake Wars movies, this fails to exicte me one bit. Titan mode is basically the standard ET game mode, sequential objectives. Get launchers to lower shields, after that destroy first 2 terminals to access the second 2, destroy those to access the core, blow up that to win the match. It's ET with less interesting objectives.

    It looks really nice though, and well designed visuals. I still expect ETQW to be the better, more stable game, but I'm heavily biased after years of ET :)

    It'll be interesting to see how this plays out though.
