2XL's game is part of a current slew of games based on the Californian off-road race, an odd phenomenon which we're a little befuddled by. It might not be the prettiest racer around, but the vast play area already has many people convinced.

Ooooh, physics look promising, just like Flat out did. Graphics are okay, it all comes down to playability and finding either the perfect balance between sim and arcade or letting the gamer choose to play it as a sim or arcadey game....IMO. Flat out failed in dumbing the driving physics down making the handling boring.
