PilotWings 64 is one of my all-time favourites (NTSC version esp), consequently I'm simultaneously keen to have a go at this and aghast at the cheek of the steal. At a certain point it stops being "influenced by" or "inspired by" and starts being "that's what you get for not doing PilotWii-ngs, Nintendo"

I hope they punt out some snow levels in the future and that it's got the wee touches that made PW64 such a delight.

I love this game. Best 80msp (yes, eighty) I've spent in ages. It's in the Indie Games section on Live if people aren't aware of it. Take a look at the Indie Games Thread in the forum if you want to find out what else is good, there are a lot of excellent games in XBLIG which many don't know about because they never bother looking.

Does this person playing not understand flight mechanics in general? Like updraft? Which I thought was quite visually obvious
I am also saddened that there was no instant BBQ burning visuals when the Avatar hit the lava :/

I love the game - when Pilotwings came out it had people love it or hate it ... it is not a title for everyone, but it is a very strong game and for only 1$ it is a steal!!
