looks very nice indeed,

now i keep reading stuff about this game being set in different time frames and having time travel! Is this true just still haven't seen any pics or footage that shows this, there a slight hint in the video on the official web site where the video keeps brakeing up as if it was a servalence camera or something.

Anyone know if there is any truth in this?

With all the cinematic shots it looks quite appealing, way better than that terrible gameplay demo that the producer gave a couple of months ago. But cinematics don�t make a game so until I see some new gameplay footage, I�ll remain very skeptical about this one.

Unless the so-motion was only for dramatic effect, the combat is actually looking quite intricate; seems like players may actually need to open their opponent's guard before being able to land a hit themselves.

I'm dreading the number of times I'll mis-time those jumps and end up flattening a wandering peasent though.....

Not impressed with this trailer. Doesn't show anything besides a few dramatic weapon strokes. Also somewhat random song selection. Lonely souls? The song is fine, but it doesn't match the video clip well. I read that these are the same people who made Prince of Persia:SOT so I'm expecting a lot.

I haven't really looked forward to a game fdor quite some time, but this is definitely that game.

My hopes are meagre. Fruit_Salad was pretty close, but my suggested mix would be Hitman + Thief 2 + PoP SoT (I love Crackdown, but I think this would benefit from a calmer pace).

I hope its the sort of game you can play without having to resort to swordplay too often. I was pretty religious when playing Thief 2 about not getting detected. I never even bothered with health potions as if I had to use one it meant I'd f*cked up (I tend to play Hitman that way too, and never bother with the body armour or adrenaline, as it happens).

Looks like it has the potential to cater for players like me and also those who like to knock heads together. Plus open sky environments and lots of climbing on rooftops is always fun.

Please don't stuff it up Ubi. The potential of this game has turned me into a kid again, which means I might cry if it sucks.

P.s. Tomb Raider had mad jumps like the last one in the vid. Doesn't mean its false. It might mean you would die if you just dived onto the ground though. Plus, I also thought the song was a bit of a mismatch (even though its a very nice tune).

If only they'd take out all this time-travelling wankery and just keep it medieval. As it is, my cheesy plot prediction: Sam Fisher uses genetic-memory-telepathy to control his great-great-great-great-etc granddad in order to preempt some present day terrorist shenanigans.
