    I AM NOT READING THIS OFF CARDS!

    Any time you want to actually show us some gameplay that would be great. Thanks.

    Interesting stuff.

    Anyway, please continue Jade.

    That games does look really interesting. For old fart original Thief fans like myself, its perhaps the next gen game we have been waiting for. Also, I think I'm in love (in that hollow "don't actually know the first thing about her" kind of way. But it seems real to me, I shall discuss it during my next session if I get the time in between working on my cupboard shrine and weaving a person sized net) ;)

    But anyway, I agree, gameplay footage please. Moving stuff, not just the screens we've seen (which could easily have been pre-rens).

    P.s. I still don't get why the finger has to come off. I get the importance of the hidden dagger no probs, but what is wrong with the good old fashioned trouser pocket I ask?

    @disc

    Oh come on. This has been covered before. These things are not mutually exclusive.

    Edit: pistols at dawn btw, you cad :)

    She seems very much involved in the development... not!

    "No 'hidden' daggers please"

    While you are counting how many fingers I've got, a large boulder (coincidentally hoisted skyward on that afternoon) will be plummeting toward your calculating mind (all is fair in love and war I believe the term goes).

    @Gurrah

    How could you possibly know either way?

    Christ, now I feel I have contributed to a blokey "she's too purdy to make gaams, ahurhur" type discussion (when in fact I never doubted her abilities as a producer, the two things are not mutually exclusive).

    ah, wake up and smell the misogyny...

    not content with looking extremely promising in its own right, I like the way these crazy Canadians are weaving what appears to be fairly clear political statement into the game. You have to stop the men in power behind the ‘evil’ Crusades… the wars themselves are a ruse for profiteering… where have we heard all this before?

    oh whoops... I spent the whole time drooling over Jade!! Wow, a sexy female geek!!

    "P.s. I still don't get why the finger has to come off."

    Agree, sounds a bit ridiculous. Especially since it's not exactly a thing that goes unnoticed: people sooner spot someone with a finger missing than one with a dagger in plain sight...

    She should have mentioned a "little thing"... what does this game offers that the others like Thief and Splinter Cell don't have (apart from the aspect).

    Jade is a bonafide Chixor

    You are pathetic. "Ow, she must be a shitty producer!" *drool* *drool*
    I find her very involved and passionate about this project.
    Also, the finger cutting was something that I was surprised to find in this game. It's a little bit of lost info that not a lot of people knew about. Kudos for the guys in Montreal that did their research properly!

    I want to work at Ubisoft...

    At least their games look 'interesting'.
  • Azazel #15 5 years ago

    From everything i've seen of this game it seems to have been very well researched at least. The trailer was nice, but hopefully we'll get to see it in action shortly.

    And... dear GOD, are attractive women not allowed to exist as professionals in technical fields or something? I know I used to have a project leader who looked a bit like her...

    I miss that job :(

    All the best heros are hand-mangled in some way.
    Ash, Luke Skywalker, and many others.
