given the disaster thief 3 turned out to be i was hoping someone else would pick up the mantle of medieval sneaker. hopefully it doesn't feature too much POP combat.

Assassins? From the trailer, it looks like the usual semi-hollywood pap. Before anyone forgets, the historical assassins were an extremist mystic Islamic sect, who engaged in political violence against Europeans and "apostate" rival groups. Now, if someone is willing to do a straight take on this, frankly contraversial, background, I will be very very impressed.

But this looks good too, though it seriously resembles the later Prince of Persia. Regardless, I hope it's fun to play.
