    I wonder how important to the story the parts that aren't on 360 and PS3 are. Surely they can't be that important, Ubisoft would have to account for the fact that most people probably won't play or read everything using the Assassins Creed title...right?

    @Stepharneo I was thinking the same, I have payed all the AC titles on ps3 and seen the lineage film but I haven't played either the psp or ds title so im hoping I haven't missed any major parts of the story.

    "Acendance" eh? Whassat then!? I played the PSP game "Bloodlines" too which filled out a bit of storyline and although you wouldn't really notice the missing story if you never played it, it helps to understand Alteir a little better. I'm a litleworried bout what I've missed now though...

    @crickson I read the book for Assassins Creed 2, but was disapointed as it was essentially AC2 in paperback. I imagine that the AC3 book would be the same, but the other novel could be worth a read. IGN reviewed the first run of the comic series and it rated quite highly so might be worth a look.

    The books and the games on PSP and DS fill out the story more, The books are essentially paperback versions of the games but i still loved reading them. They fill out how Altiar continues after AC, fighting the Templars, meets his wife etc etc. A good read or play. I definately recommend them especially 'AC the secret crusade' book. You will still understand the main plot lines of the main AC games but just will not have the complete picture Ubisoft are trying to portray. They're good i enjoyed them all. Well done Ubisoft as long as they good quality storylines are there i'm all for the different media and more games.
