We're assuming that 'holiday' is the generalised term that America uses for Christmas so as not to upset anybody.

    Ah teasers, thank you Hollywood, thank you sooooo much.

    Please someone tell me, who was the prick who thought consumers would enjoy nothing more than wasting time on crap which shows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the thing they are interested in.

    Anyway...hope it lands this year, Christmas with AC was awesome in '07 and I want a repeat!

    It's 'holiday' because it takes in Thanksgiving and New Year as well as Christmas and Hanukkah. It's the holiday season. But don't let that put you off finding some 'political correctness gone mad' where none exists, yeah?

    I thought that was called "winter".

    Anyway, I'm sorta dissapointed. I was hoping the sequel would be called "Assassins Greed", or "Assassins Bleed" or something like that. Assassin Seed, maybe. Well, not really, of course. This is a joke, but a lame one.

    I like teasers - they're a good way to set the mood before the dev is able to get near finished gameplay out on display (and if it wasn't near finished the comments would be full of 'oh this looks crap'...) If you don't like them, don't watch them.

    Jeez. Gift horse mouth.

    The only one issue I have with this teaser is that we're going back to the Leonardo Da Vinci era for more of this unbelievable horse manure conspiracy theory (insert four of five swear words here) that we've been pretty much unable to move on from since that god-awful Da Vinci Code trash.

    STOP. IT. NOW.

    edit; and on that note, the original was softcore sci-fi? Why go all conspiracy theory on us for the sequel? Come on, I know the majority don't notice ever but some of us do like a little bit of consistancy.

    I think most people are simply too caught up in their need for crowd approval to do anything other than praise whatever articles or reveals turn up each day.

    I seriously think that you could put a 5 minute video of a turd up and label it FF XIII reveal trailer and you'd have a forum full of posts praising the amazing graphics and gameplay or analysing what amazing gameplay features the turn is somehow cryptically representing. Those same people would probably then call you a moron for pointing out that it's just a video of a turd.

    I'd be fascinated to know who it is that decides to use a dodgy British accent for this, and then totally fail to pronounce words like "era" and "rennaisance" as they are naturally pronounced in British English. Makes the creators look really ignorant and/or complacent.

    Also, holidays only happen around Christmas/etc time? No, in fact, that's obviously wrong. There are holidays throughout the year. "this holiday" technically means the next one that happens. I'm sure that they actually mean "round Christmas ish", they just failed to say it properly - more telling complacency.

    That voiceover might just be the most moronic, sub-Dan Brown nonsense I've heard in ages.

    Maybe they should hire a _writer_. I hear Pratchett Jr is quite good.
