Army of Two - Gameplay

Published 2 August, 2007 Duration 2:26

A collection of gameplay footage from EA's double team shooter. Apparently the game is centred on the 'the impact and ethical issues of Private Military Corporations'. Lots of ethical deliberation in this clip.

I actually think this looks alot of fun. I don't really know why. I really should know better but it just looks like a blast, samething with Blacksite. Plus im a sucker for the under-dog.

I think I read that they removed the tampon wound stanching from the game though, because it was "too gay". That fails.

Wow, looks just like every other third-person shooter in existence -- only more generic.

Kane & Lynch will be much better, I'm certain.

    EDIT - can't spell 'Kane' :p

    Poor presentation!
It's to be expected from EA I guess.

Also, no pots to piss in? I guess the gaming revolution hasn't arrived yet.

Gears of Two. Now with floating vehicles.

The games industry needs more quality co-op games. Hope this turns out to be a good one.

Nothing beats a good co-op experience.

Worst weapon sound ever! But I did like that 'choose your weapon' screen - the modifications look like fun.

There's a surprise: an Army of Two comment thread with no whining about how macho it is! I was beginning to wonder if some gamers expected a pair of mercenaries to be sharing banter about Coldplay and Ideal Home.

The Hovercraft looks horribly floaty but otherwise this looks appealing. I'm hoping that the co-op elements allow a range of different approachs to scenarios, rather than the player(s) being required to figure out what the game designers had in mind.

Im confused as to how you play it without split screen????

Kind of looks like a less imaginative, less entertaining version of Gears of War.
