Looks great but let's face it this one's all about the AI. Any news on a UK release date?

Looks slighlty better than OFP graphics wise.

Why can't people just steal Red Orchestras tracer rounds? Have them pinging off things and starting fires in the shrubbery.

ArmA has tracer rounds that can be loaded into machine guns and ricochets if rounds hit hard surfaces at an angle, not to meantion bullet drop and travel time, penetration and the effects of recoil.

Also saying its a small improvement over OFP is plain wrong!

Yeah, looks like a slightly improved OFP and thats comparing it to the out of the box product not the high res graphics you can pick up online. Guess its about the rest of the game. In fact is this OFP2 or some kind of very late OFP addon?

It is a kind of 'OFP 1.5', improved engine and a lot of behind the scenes changes, they've been working a sequal of sorts as well known as 'Game 2' but ts a couple of years from release, have a look at 'VBS2' which is the military training sim, its sort of 'Game 2 V0.5'.

I still say its a hugely improved over OFP and shits on BF2. Heres a nice vid of the game in action http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.ph...

It has tracer rounds? Excellent, will make the night missions look grand.

Was great to see rockets flying across the field in the pitch black in OFP.

I would still buy it even if its OFP1.5. I got all the OFP addons and loved playing it online despite the pain in the ass setup system. Awesome game. No other comes close to providing such a tense feeling.
