Totally and utterly killed Arma for me.

I know its no consolation, but the AI had excellent hearing apart from silenced weapons, they were crap against them, but could pin-point your position from a mile a way quite happily otherwise. The main problem with the AI is that it would only shoot when it thought it could kill you, and usually it could. Aside from not being how soldiers really act, it made them seem like a bunch of aim-bots.
Still, this looks like it could bring just about any pc to it's knees. Very much want, whoever, mostly for the excellent co-op gameplay.

Edit: i am, of course, a basement-dwelling gaming nerd (with assassinations being only a small, part-time job), not a well-trained soldier. Maybe it works differently for them.
