Apple iPad presentation

Have a medical professional at hand before you start to watch this, there's a severe danger of choking to death on the smugness emanating from the screen.

Lordy, I'm having trouble holding the vomit in. There's only so much my cheeks can hold, y'know.

Multitasking please. Oh, and Flash. And a camera. And SD slots.

Sorry Apple, I'll be buying a netbook if I want to do any of that, and an e-reader that I can use in daylight.

What's horrifying is not the patronising corporate crap. Everyone does that. It's the fact that Apple have someone marketed themselves into a position where people will watch this with the same mindset that they watch a shuttle launch.

Anyone else feel the urge to give Scott Forstall a slap. Yes it's pretty, yes it may change some things for people, but come on. Until we see priest giving sermons using these things, with the actual 10 commandments on the screen... Smug++

You know, it's true, when something exceeds your ability to understand how it works ... and why did you buy it, it tends to be Apple.

What was that crap about "When you don't understand how it works it becomes magical". Nope we are humans we tend to simply destroy what we don't understand. Ok lads get the pitchforks and torches and burn those witches!

Oh really, it gives the best movie experience? Better than cinemas? Ok, if you say so.

I dont just want to hold the internet in my hand, I want the internets hairy balls banging against my chin and internet jizz in my hair.

Give me that apple, then we'll start talking.

That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Are we sure it wasn't a spoof?

1-9 I understand your feeling. I thought the same 3 years ago with the iPhone... Apple laughed last. Hard, it still hurts.

And they will again, this is an amazing device and it will crash most eReaders, netbooks and tablets. Because most people only need a plain, shiny, multitouch screen for browsing at home... the the iPad is bloody shiny.

    exceeds what I understand ? - wot???
my god what a load of bull -

'theres no wrong way to hold it..' except anything other than portrait and landscape maybe ????

the designer's been speaking to the marketing department for too long

im kinda putting this slightly out of context here but still these words do appear in sequence:

'it just feels right, to hold the internet in your hands!'

    o_O

why is it not 16:9 - or at least 16:10 - no doubt it's some bizzare proprietary res too like that weird 1152 one they used for years

ok I give up - I cant make it to the end - Im not watching the whole video - it is an experience more cringeworthy than any 'cash for gold' or 'stick all your mortgages in one bowl' advertisements on TV...

    lame. really lame.
  • ChocNut #14 2 years ago

Sickened by the wasted potential here. That said, Steve did give us the iPhone - failure is only human so a cockup was inevitable.
  • E_Goldstein #15 2 years ago

    ....hahahaha.

"It's a revolution, the cock slot in particular really evolves the interactive experience."
