Alone in the Dark - Central Park teaser

8 (5 ratings)

Those of you who are lucky enough to remember the 1992 original and its sequels will recall the air of chilling suspense, challenging puzzles and deep archaic lore which they offered. You'll also understand why we're so excited about this next-gen update.

Liking the music. Alot.

This gen is lacking in survival horror, and I think it might have something to do with Resi 4 making them all look archaic.

It's been a year and a half since the last trailer was released. It's sporting a new logo and the main character seems different now, I wonder how much else was changed (the game already looked quite nice the last time we saw it).

Eden's website has new job postings that read "Alone" (3 weeks old) so I'm guessing this game is still caught in some weird development limbo. How sad, Atari really need something like this to turn their fortunes around.

The Demo (although hands off and a very sowcasing and narrow parcour) they showed in Leipzig was the single most impressive thing I saw all Games Convention. It was a bit like experiencing the first tech demos of Half-Life 2 all over again.

Atari really needs to start communicating this game...

bye,

Alex
