the character creation system looks great... so why the fuck have they decided to take the art direction of the characters in the trailer in such an abysmal direction. they look truly horrific

If Realtime Worlds fancied a cash boost they could pull a Spore and release a feature-limited version of the character creator as a modestly priced standalone product. Make the characters exportable to other games and you'd have a winning product all by itself. Who'd not buy that?
