Keeping up the Max Payne tradition of having a horribly gurning actor for the promo stuff. Hope we get too see more in game. I also note they're giving the Far Cry crowd a run for their money for the 'Lumpiest Water In A Videogame' award.

Looking forward to this - but when will i be able to play it?? NO more information about it at all , just a tiny bit more video to keep interest up.
Oh and the problem with the gate? It's called suspense.

The kind of game that'll succeed or fail on the strength of its atmosphere I imagine. Anyone know what engine it uses out of interest?

You go boy!

seems like improvement all round then tiiti
Sorry couldn't that as a joke originally and there have been too many trolls making supposedly serious comments like that - not to mention the first post retards

That's supposed to be suspenseful? Uh-oh.

Just imagine the suspense when you're rushing to get somewhere safe, like in the vid, and watch the sun ebb away and just know 'they' (whoever they might be of course) are coming for you now. That kinda of thing would get me excited indeed.

Nobody else think this LOOKS nice but has a dreadful sounding story?
"OMG! My nightmare book wants to eat me!"
FFS, need a real story?
Comment below viewing threshold Show
Yes and no. 99,99% of all stories of games are dreadful. But fortunately, the story isn't important. It's not about the what, but about the how, and about atmosphere.

This sounds like it's going to be more of a personal/psychological story, much like Max Payne's. Don't think you should put too much stock into the nightmare elements, I think the personal parts of the story will easily make up for that.
I'm looking forward to this.

Very much so. The town actually looks like an amazing place to explore. I hope there is a lot of day to day interaction to be had in the town before the Sh*t hits the fan. Obvious strong element of the Shining and a hint of The Fog at the end there too. All good elements if it comes together right. I'll be watching this one with interest.
