For a second there I thought it was a new video of that african PS3 thingy. Well, this one looks pretty neat too. :)

The animation of those elephants is shocking.

Yeah really, the elephants are terrible and the people not much better. I'm fairly sure they're moving faster than their animations depicted. Not what I'd call impressive.

Maybe I'm just out of touch but I got no sense of characters or classes from that at all; there's people who hit each other, and some who cross bridges, some who get pouinced on by silly monster things and some who ululate at giant worms. Uh, cool. Put me down for "Worm Ululator". No, actually, put me down for "refund".

So this isn't related to the africa PS3 videos we've seen so far? Thank god, because that looked intruiging and novel, this just looks dire.

the character animations are terrible. looks like a ps2 game. for a while i thought it was a ps2 game until i looked at the ps3 icon. total rubbish.

This looks like a very weird depiction of Africa... I'm pretty sure that elements of this are confused with other parts of the world [not to mention the strange fantasy stuff].

I wonder if we can play as Nigerian rebels and kidnap foreign nationals because they are drilling all the oil.

This is Africa (with a c), the ps3 game is called Afrika (with a k). Also this says: First look trailer, afrika for PS3 has been shown before.

Yesterday I was reading my uncles fantastic travel diary from the 80's when he used to live in Tanzania and I were thinking: "Why there ain't any Africa themed games around?"

After seeing this I think that propably it's only a good thing.

Not sure how people got confused between this and Afrika.

The fact that the PS3 game was spelt with a K was something that I remembered, so it was immediately obvious that this is a completely different title.
