Eurogamer Editorial
Tom Bramwell
Editor, Eurogamer.net
Alias: Mugwum
Tom joined Eurogamer in 2000 and became Editor in January 2008. Tom is responsible for editorial, so you really can blame him for everything, even if he didn't actually do it. Cool, no?
Ellie Gibson
Deputy Editor, Eurogamer.net
Alias: Ellie
Ellie previously edited our sister site, GamesIndustry.biz, but found the dress code restrictive and became our Deputy Editor in January 2008. She has a suitcase full of wigs.
Oli Welsh
MMO Editor, Eurogamer.net
Alias: Oli
Following a long spell freelancing for the likes of Edge and Eurogamer, Oli went full time with us in early 2008 and is responsible for the site's MMO section and other marquee content.
Rob Purchese
News Editor, Eurogamer.net
Alias: Bertie
Rob recently ascended to News Editor having originally joined the company to do admin work. His meteoric rise has been noted and he will die under suspicious circumstances in due course.
Dan Pearson
Staff Writer, Eurogamer Network
Alias: Danbojones
Dan once worked for the police (and not just helping with their inquiries), but these days is another former web admin turned writer. We need to stop letting that happen - admin work is important!
Contributors
Christian Donlan, Rob Fahey, Kieron Gillen, Martin Korda, Richard Leadbetter, Keza MacDonald, Alec Meer, Simon Parkin, Jim Rossignol, Tim Stone, John Walker, Dan Whitehead.
Eurogamer TV
Johnny Minkley
Editor, Eurogamer TV
Alias: JohnnyM (poor!)
Johnny's CV includes a spell in charge of the other industry trade organ, MCV, and he continues to contribute to Radio 1's games coverage on the Jo Wiley Show.
James Hills
Video Editor, Eurogamer TV
Alias: Escher
James is in charge of making the pictures go with sounds and things like that on Eurogamer TV. He also holds the camera, moans about things and dislikes cheese with pathological intensity.
Eurogamer Sales
Dan Robinson
Sales Directory, Eurogamer.net
Alias: Spydez
Dan joined Eurogamer in 2006 and is responsible for the network's advertising, without which none of us would be here. Not that you can see us under that f***ing overlay.
Matt Styles
Consumer sales, Eurogamer.net
Alias: MrMcStyles
Clean-living Matt also sells advertising space across the EG network, and I really can't think of anything else to type, even though he's lovely. He's wearing a shirt that says "Monday". Topical.
Scott MacKintosh
Ad Trafficker
Alias: PiD
Scott joins Eurogamer after a few years doing things we haven't bothered to research, and now handles admin for our sales department, among many other things. We like Scott. He's alpha.
Development
Mark Kennedy
Lead Developer
Alias: sharpkiddie
Mark's been here through several iterations of the website and wrote most of the code that makes it buzz and whirr. He also fights off Internet terrorists when they try and take us down like in Die Hard 4.
Craig Munro
Developer
Alias: craigy
Craig does the same sort of thing as Mark, but is more handsome. He also emails us occasionally trying to convince us to give blood, which is very noble, although his method of collecting it is a bit suspicious.
Chris Ward
Developer
Alias: fatchris
Chris is responsible for things like the amazing Eurogamer TV technology, and boasts an encyclopaedic knowledge of film and TV. Now that we've moved offices he doesn't have to drive us home at the end of the day.
Martin Taylor
Designer
Alias: mouse
Martin is currently in his second spell at Eurogamer, designing our websites and performing other graphical duties when the need arises. Also, his desk is piled high with quirky Japanese things, which is useful for distracting visitors when we can't be bothered to talk to them.
Management
Rupert Loman
Managing Director
Alias: rauper
Rupert is the boss and co-founder of Eurogamer Network, and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and making long-term plans for our expansion, such as putting hose-pipes in our mouths and turning the tap on really quickly.
